o2c Next Top Model (ONTM) – Season 1 (Assignment 3 - Rugged Theme)

This is the o2c Next Top Model (ONTM) Competition – Season 1 Assignment 3. This is the search for the inaugural o2c Next Top Model.

For this 3rd assignment/task the judges decided get some online feedbacks about the contest, your opinions about the models, and in general the overall views and improvements to turn the competition more entertaining and worthwhile for the judges, models and viewers alike.

We provide two photo shots of each of the models and it is time for you to have your say on each of them. You can vote, eliminate and give constructive critique and comment to either each of the models or a particular model that you wish him/her to improve in the next assignment.

Some basic information of the theme and other details you may need to know about the o2c Next Top Model.

Dress Code – Rugged
Location – Abandoned house, Tanjung Aru Sabah, Malaysia
Time of Shooting – 1430 pm to 1700 pm
Photographers – Mr. Ramesh Salimun and Mr. Junior Balanjiu

Make up – Model’ Themselves

These critiques will benefit the models in their future photo shooting sessions, and in their career in the modelling industry. Comments should be on general outlook of the model, poses, selection of clothes and accessories, make up, photo angles, etc. No personal attacks are allowed.

4) If you have any particular theme for the next photo shooting assignment feel free to air your view. We are more than pleased to accommodate your request.

5) If you to be our guest judge feel free to inform us. As you wish you could remain anonymous judge. Do provide us your basic resume and your experiences in the fashion/modelling/cosmetic industry and/or beauty pageant industry. You are most welcome to be part of the judging teams for the next assignment.

6) If you want to volunteer to be a photographer for the next photo shooting session do inform us. You are more than welcome to contribute your skills and artistry to further improve the quality of shots of the models.

7) If you want to volunteer to be our guest make up artist for the next photo shooting sessions do inform us. Bear in mind that all photo shooting sessions take place in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, Malaysia.

8) If you come from the retail/fashion/hotel industries and want to promote a particular product, i.e. cosmetic, merchandise, accessories, clothes, do let us know. We are more than happy to promote your products in our photo shooting assignment. We can do it for free! We won’t promote pornographic related products though.

9) If you to be a part of the team do join us too. There is no obligation. We all just tried to be creative and fill up our time with stuff we enjoy most.

O2C Next Top Model (ONTM) – Rugged Theme

This is the search of the next O2C Top Model. The theme of the 3rd assignment is rugged! We are looking for the most versatile model in his/her rugged looks, style and appearances. We are not searching for the most good looking model, but simply a model when he/she puts on a pair of jeans he/she is able to carry bring out the best of the theme This is what this 3rd assignment is all about! Welcome to the ONTM!

Location. The location of photo shooting is an old abandoned house near a construction site in Tanjung Aru, next to the 2nd Beach. The eerie old house coupled with the filthy floor and broken wall provide the ruggedness setting required for the photo shooting session.

Photo Shots. Each of the models was given at least 12 shots each for the session. Each of them can choose various spots in and around the house. How they pose and which angle of the shots were at the prerogative of the model and the photographer. Some of the results were pretty amazing and some are not. The judges had a difficult times selecting the photo shots.

Changes. There will be a slight change on the part of the judging panel for this 3rd assignment. Firstly, the judges will select two photographs i.e. a full body length and close up photographs, from the 12 shots taken for each model. This is the judges’ choice at their discretion. If any of the models has shown any of the photograph(s) in their blogs prior to the selection, the judges will not choose such photograph even though it was an excellent one. The photograph itself will be disqualified automatically. Secondly, there will be an online voting via blogs, facebook and emails. All votes will be sent to a specified email provided by the judges. Lastly, each of the models will be allowed to campaign their friends, families and acquaintances to vote for them via emails, blog and facebook. Again, all votes will be sent to a specified email provided by the judges for counting purposes.

ONTM Hari Raya Pictures - Judges' Comments

Welcome. The search of the o2c NEXT TOP MODEL (Season 1) begins! What does it take to be the next o2c TOP Model.

This is the first assignments of the o2c Next Top Model (ONTM). I thought I re-posted it again here.

With Hari Raya as theme, here are the 10 most versatile o2c models competing for the ultimate title to be the next o2c top model. They were chosen from 10,000 wannabe models in the last 3 months through strict selection process. Who's is the next o2c model? You have to wait!

During their 3 months ardous journey, they will undergo various photoshooting sessions throughout the jungle of Borneo and some of the most beautiful places around Sabah. The aim is ONE!!! To be the next o2c Top Model!

Here are the comments from the judges for the Task 1 photoshooting session taken inKiulu with the Hari Raya Theme. Keputusan hakim adalah muktamad. No rasuah-rasuah or bodek-bodek. All comments are genuine and audited by Janice Dickinson. Views from top international supermodels i.e. Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford were obtained as part of the judging process.

Tompok - Poor pose with both hands look very awkward, macam kehilangan tongkat. Itu senyuman macam mau nangis. Macam teda-teda ni gambar. Too simple picture. No value at all.

Bobi - I like this picture coz the objek very ceria. Ada style with hands inside the poket. Simple pose tapi ada quality. Sometimes less is more.

Sumpit - Macam biasa ini orang kan tu mekap over the top. Kalu tau kulit itam, jan pakai bedak talampau putih. Orang ingat baru keluar dr BP. Side pose ok! Tapi kedudukan bahu kurang selese, you sud be more confortable and relax! Muka kasi ilek sikit jan talampau cool, nampak cam eksyen jak!!

Junioh - Itu pose sia suka. Mata mu cantik ya! Muka ada kaku sikit la, kali tunggu a bit longer tu jurukamera ambil gambar. Overall not really my favourite abis teda nampak kaki. Setakat kg kg ok la, buli improve lagi. Pass la sia kasi ni kali.

Gidong - Tiada tarikan ni gambar sama sekali. Renungan teda-teda. Dua kali sia pandang macam sakit kalenjar sia. Muka nampak panjang dan berisi dan macam jatuh suda. Macam orang sakit. Baju pun indak strika!!

Lumis - Nice smile and pose. Simple and presentable. But jan selesa sangat dengan puji-pujian ku. Need to diversify the pose ikut keadaan next time. one suggestion, cuba smile kasi nampak gigi to reduce some of the wrinkles. Maklum la tua-tua suda kan.

Olen - Macam dr polipin ni orang! Pose okay juga la. Cuma tu senyuman ada ervous sikit sia nampak, otherwise you smile sweetly! Beautiful eyes like it's talking to the camera. Kejarangan juga ni, not all eyes can talk yo know.

Pelangi - Oh dea me! Itu prop (daun) lebi besar dr tu subject! Very classical pose/looks, i.e. Mao Tze Tung era or nearer at home, time mat salleh. Very old fashion. The smile too wide i think, and the gerahang bawah cam mau jatuh/tercabut. Which means wrong angle kene ambil i gambar, or the model pose wrongly! Either one la tuh. Tapi pass.

Mesh - I like the other picture than this one. Very inconsistent esp when you pose la Mesh. Gambar lain cantik, yang ini not so la. Kaku on the mouth and leher area. So you look grinning rather than smiling for the camera. Kebanyakan orang aving this problems. Later I give all of you tips.

West - I don't like the hair at all. Look a bit older in this position although in other group pictures you look much younger. Pose is a bit off showing how thin you are. But i like the background.

O2C Next Top Model (ONTM) - Task 2 (Star Studded Nite, Red Carpet Pose)

This is the O2C Next Top Model (ONTM) - Task 2! All pictures are taken during the 3rd KE Star Studded Nite 2008 held on the 18 October 2008. The dress code of the red carpet event was Casual Smart (Glitters). And here are the judges comments!

Tommy - Wah pandai bergaya, berhias tp mekap tu kena kasi 'up' sikit supaya lebih malatops!

Gedion - Miss Iron Rambut...nice smile but look forced. Blusher mcm tidak balance. But overall, very easy to the eyes and sweet.

Jason - I agree with the 2 judges concerning the smile and the make up. Eyes are lively and the pose could be improved.

Tommy - Alangkah bagusnya kalau berpakaian mcm ni tapi tidak memakai spec... Lain kali cubalah membiasakan diri dengan contact lens (bukan slalu pakai juga kan... lain lah kalau slalu ada party mcm ni) hwa3!

Gedion - Ok, maybe next time try using contact lenses. Baru nampak itu mata yang cantik. Nasib baik gambar sampai dada jak, tidak la nampak perut. :) Must be daring more when posing in front of the camera. No shy
shy...

Jason - I don’t like the pose at all! Body posture is too vertical. The eyes and smile is too plain probably as a result of the poor pose. If done properly (posing wise, smile and good eye contact) you would look much younger, cheeky and charming. And that attire, you would even look more seductive.

Tommy - Lain kali kalau mau bergambar biar kasi kemas dulu baju tu... at least tarik2 dulu baju tu p bawah supaya kureng kedutan dia ok!

Gedion - Ini macam kotigok kena gambar. Haha. But very candid and natural. Nasib baik lagi gambar sampai dada jak. Kalau full body ndak tau la..But the eyes lack emotion. Practice more in front of the mirror.

Jason - You look uncomfortable and a bit nervous from the look of your face and eyes. Lips and the left eye are a bit tight. Otherwise you will look much better.

Tommy - Hmmm ok lah... tapi pasti lebih ok kalau pakai baju lengan panjang!

Gedion - Mula2 sia nampak, sia ingat taiko samseng mana, c Mamai pula. Ngam la dengan nama dia tu, sebab pose pun macam mamai juga. Dengan senyuman macho dia. But I prefer the full body shot. He looked more into the character. I think this pic of Mamai would be a magazine cover. Just have to work on body posture more. Supaya nampak lagi outstanding.

Jason - I don’t like the whole baju arrangement. Need to work out and tone the shoulder. Sometimes we need to match our character and the way we dress up. Ngam ka tidak ngam? Really need to practice on the smile, looks unsymmetrical to me.

Tommy - Dia ni semakin malatops n kadang2 mcm kena edit lebih pulak gambar dia ni sia tgk! hwa3... Tapi dia memang ada bakat jd model peramah! uwahhh!

Gedion - As always, delivers great shot. Best smile of all. Very nice colour of shirt. have emotions in the eyes, like very excited. Keep up the good work!

Jason - Best picture of the bunch!! The pose is excellent showing details of total facial expression, i.e. cheek bones and jaw lines. In modeling industry, this is what most talent scouts are looking for. I know the facial complexion has been photoshoped, but that’s fine with me. Best magazine cover if to compared with mamai or sumpit as indicated by Gedion.

Tommy - Dressing pempuan paling mantap utk mlm tu... tapi cubalah dia pakai anting2 bulat yg besar! Ni trend KL skrg... bukan Kl jak tp mana2 pun kalau rambut sudah set2 mcm tu siap dressing mcm tu memang x kena kalau tiada anting2!

Gedion - Great hair and smile too! Try wearing other more vibrant and fresh colours. Black makes this beautiful lady look boring. Try having bang or a bit hair in front. Too much fore head is not good also. But still a very well done shot.

Jason - The baju I like! Not too over dan teda yang kurang. Just nice and SAFE (since it’s baju hitam kan!). The make up could be improved. Nice smile too (I think you learn how to smile more naturally)!

Tommy - Rambut dia mesti kena kasi blow kembang lg atau masa tu dia buat sendiri rambut dia? Macam pakai lens masa tu kan? Kalau betul then bagus sb up to date! hwa3! TAPI... baju yg nampak celah2 dada tu memang lawa kalau pakai rantai apa juga rantai yg penting rantai leher! hwa3

Gedion - The Miss Congeniality. Warm smile, but the hair is a bit too done. Maybe less keras and more flows can make her look sensational. But best top for girls. Kasi tayang itu Cle.... lagi, ada markah juga tu...hehe

Jason – The pose was the real spoiler, showing all the weaknesses e.g. double chin, wrinkles on the neck, imbalance shoulders, silhouette at the back. Less is more and trying too hard to look great sometimes could change the whole outlook of the pic. The hair is okay and the baju is superb (but was not fully utilized) to obtain a great picture.

Tommy - Time ni dia sudah mabuk ka belum? Kenapa leher baju dia tu mcm org yg sudah singgarung? Lain kali jgn patah2 leher kalau posing Wesh!

Gedion - Ok, the shirt must be change. Doesn't go with Red Carpet Theme. But the pose is nice, kalau bukan full body shot la. And hair style...hm...I don't know if I should comment on the belah tengah...what u think jay?

Jason – Obviously the hair could be much better. I will recommend you my hairstylist, Ah Kin!! Sometimes you have to try to bring more character to yourself, i.e. facial characters in particular. Position and expression of the eyes and smile are great, pose is okay, a bit tight on the right neck simply because the pose is a bit uncomfortable for you. Kalu baju, yg lebih nice-nice lagi la.

Tommy - Ai? mcm baru aku nampak org ni? Kalau ya pun mau berpose, cuba kasi kaluar itu barang yg ada di poket baju sb baju ko ni transparent bah gaman!

Gedion - Baju dia transparent kah tu? Memang dia berani kan. Showing all his curves. Sia solute la dia ni. Maybe a profile shot can be better. If front face too common.

Jason – I think overall okay. Facial expression okay cuma tu bibir macam kena kepit sikit. Either you are not ready or you are nervous, that I don’t know.

Tommy - Memang dia ni pandai bergaya sudah.. mainan mata n mimik muka pandai dia kontrol kalau dpn camera! Senang sikit kerja! hwa3!

Gedion - This one is nice. Very the perfume model style. But the dressing could be better. Maybe a different colour. And the eyes no need to make it look sexy la. The sexiness are there naturally. Just have to work on the body pose and dressing.

Jason – Posing wise is excellent! Facial contour is good and look neat kan. I think the baju is ok la, matching jugalah with the botak concept! Cume the smile masih kurang sikit, I think kau ni kedekut senyum bah!!!

Tommy - Buli ka ko berdiri jgn kasi miring tu bahu kalau mau buat muka serius dpn camera?

Gedion - Good effort in matching the shirts. Macam model Calvin Klein pun ada. I prefer the black and white pic. Looks more classy. Patut tunduk sikit and eyes focus on camera. Barulah mcm cover shot. But so far best male model pic.

Jason – Simple tapi menawan gituh kan si sumpit ni! Very very metrosexual looking! A bit awkward on the pose macam ‘Leaning Tower of Pisa’ yang di Italy too. Of all the model, you hair is the best! Again this pic kena photoshopped. Kalu 2 kali tgk you have the feminine look, kalu 2 kali tgk la bah.

Tommy - Hmmm pandai bergaya juga bah dia ni siap pakai spec trend skrg! hwa3! Tapi lain kali jgn butang tu baju sejujur alam! Nampak ka mcm menangis sudah tu baju ko pakai? kasi lepas 1 butang atau 2 butang lg supaya nampak selesa lagipun ko pakai baju dlm juga!

Gedion - Ini gambar sebelum mabuk atau semasa mabuk? Nice shirt and wonderful smile. Should do spiky hair to compliment the face shape. Supaya nampak lagi matured. Don't push back the head too much, chin down a bit and play with the camera more. It's ok to be cheeky but keep it moderate. But this pic makes people happy when looking at it right? The fun and joy shows through the picture. Good!

Jason – Simple old fashion pose but works for you! Ya, the baju could be more sexier next time. Very natural smile, symmetrical and happy go lucky type of person. Keep it up!

3rd KE Star Studded Nite - An Invitation

Time: 7 pm onwards

I am sure all of us had attended one of those parties of the years. These parties have themes. There are cheese and wine party where various types of cheeses and wines are served, von-v-von party (I made this one up!), dinner party with band entertainment, party by the lake and so forth.

Most of these parties have dress codes – batik fusion, retro, casual smart. You name it the list goes on and on. A red carpet party? Yup, this one is a rare event! If I were you, sure I will attend. Just to see exactly what the party is all about. How it is organised. What are the programs – are there dinner games, best dress and styles, Ms. Congeniality, artistes, etc. Is food provided? Is the drink in the house, free flow, open bill?

Last month, I attended the Sabah Bloggers Gathering. I registered a month earlier and I can’t wait the day of the event. It would be held at a hotel, so food must be nice I would reckon. I would imagine too that those people attending the event will wear something extra special since it would held in a hotel. I would expect dinner games, lucky draws and song performances as parts of the program. It would be the best place to meet and get to know more friends.

I was right, what I expected and imagined were all there. The song performances were great, the atmosphere and ambience were excellent even, food was delicious, lucky draws were superb – it was all there except of these; a) I didn’t get to mix and get to know with other attendees apart from those friends that I already knew, b) lack of activities that involve interaction, c) crowd tend to be busy with their own buddies and acquaintances, d) it wasn’t a red carpet event!

Next month, there will be a gathering, similar to the Sabah Bloggers Gathering, but a much smaller in scale. The location will be in Donggongon, 12 km from the city, and the organisers expect around 80-90 people to turn up. Attendees will be those who frequent the KE website at http://www.kadusmusic.com/portal, their friends and acquaintance and those who want to experience a red carpet event. The entrance fee is RM25 - food and party pack will be provided, drinks at your own expense.

The theme of the red carpet event is 3^rd KE Star Studded Nite. It means you are obliged to dress casual smart, and probably with fashion accessories – necklace, belt, bangles, as long as it is shining like stars or blinking even as the theme implies. Something simple, elegant, presentable and comfortable. Imagine as you walk into the room all eyes on you and you can hear the clicks of cameras all focussing on you.

Di sebuah pejabat pos seorang nenek ingin mengirim surat kepada cucunya. Kerana dia lupa membawa kacamata, akhirnya ia meminta tolong seorang petugas untuk membantunya.

Nenek berkata, "Bolehkan anda membantu menuliskan alamat pada sampul surat ini?".

Lalu petugas itu menuliskan alamatnya, nenek itu berkata lagi, "Bolehkan anda membantu menuliskan isi suratnya ?"

Setelah menuliskan isi surat itu dengan penuh ketulusan dan sukacita, bertanyalah petugas itu kepada nenek .. "Apa lagi yang boleh saya bantu, Nek?"

Travelling - Adventure Of A Life Time

I dare to say this. I have been to many places, both locally and nationally, sometimes over the sea. It is timely that I blog about these places. One day it would be fun to read them again. Back to memory lane kinna thing.

In the next coming months I will be visiting many places of interest around Ranau and the East Coast. It is going to be a tiring journey. Resorts, small scale accommodation providers, waterfalls, river cruises, jungle trekking, parks, rest areas, island and beaches, home stay, etc. There are also new and ‘potential’ places of interest i.e. tourism assets/products to be visited and assessed. Chasing waterfalls and trekking hills will be most challenging. Going through the jungle where leeches and mosquitoes are aplenty in addition to the harsh climatic conditions will be challenging too.

Apart from visiting all these places, I will also attend a few events taking place in these parts of Sabah. The Death March Ceremony in Kundasang War Memorial and the 22^nd TM International Climbathon, for example.

From now on I will categories these places I visited as follows.

Weekend Gate Away – Places I visit over the weekend, mostly with friends and families.

Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan – Places I visit with food being the main agenda.

Cuti Cuti Sabah – Visit to places of interest in Sabah covering leisure and work.

Holiday Destination – Visit to places of interest where I can relax and not doing work.

Friends Are Rare Jewels - Part II

It is amazing how life can be without friends around you. It is also amazing having so many friends with different traits and attitudes. You just have to deal with them. It is also amazing that some of them undergo ‘transition’, revealing every true sense of the words of who they actually are. Some become acquaintances rather than someone we can call friend. These are the type of friends I have.

I have a friend who treats me like shit. I never treat her like shit. Just so to let her know.

I have a friend who treats me like shit. I always invisible. It is okay with me.

I have a friend who does not want me to be closed with the other friends of ours. That’s with me. I’ll let him have him.

I have a friend who wants to be somebody, but he is a nobody. Then he tries again. He still a nobody.

I have a friend who likes to rival in almost everything I do. I told him I am nothing near to his challenge. I am not rich nor am I have the looks. In fact, he is nothing like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise that I want to rival for. Please find someone else to your level.

I have a friend who likes to provoke me into games of jealousy. He told me the other day that he was with my close friend when he knew I wasn’t there. So why bother telling me if you must ask. It is all in the game of jealousy!

I have a friend who gives me lots of excuses. It is okay to say no if you are not interested.

I have friends’ friends who think I am a snobbish. He was right. Sometimes I like to be snobbish, it’s a thrill.

I have a friend who plans lot of activities but never implement them. He falls back to other female friend. He gets all the credits.

I have a friend who gives excuses when canceling last minute plans. One or two times are okay. I never invite him since the last outing.

I have a friend who thinks he is a genius. He thinks those who go to pubs and birthday parties are bunch of losers. I pity him.

I have a friend who spreads negatives vibes. I try to avoid this type of friends.

I have a friend who wants me to respect or look up on him. Which I did, sometimes, as a friend.

I have friend who are slightly overweight. I never feel embarrass near them. I enjoy their companies. I wish it could be forever. My worries are when they start to lose that extra pound they will find other friends. I wish they stay the way they are!

I have friends who are not pretty. But inside them, they are beautiful – first class. I love being around with them. Sometimes I share them beauty and fashion tips. Just to get rid some of the unnecessary.

I have friends who are older than me. But they act like 20’s. I like them.

I have friends who are older than me. But they act like 20’s. Sometimes I don’t like them. They abandoned their wives and kids.

I have friends who are short. Sometimes I ask them to walk first. Takut bah orang pikir sia ada anak suda. But I don’t mind at all.

I have a friend who keeps asking me to go the cinema. Inside while the movie is on he plays with text messages. I stop going to the cinema.

I have a friend who likes to interrupt. One fine day, I told her to shut up and let me finish otherwise she’s being rude. To this day, she still interrupts.

I have friends who are very quiet and only talk when the right time comes. Great to know them.

I have a friend who likes to be photographed. They are nothing like model. I envy their courage. Sometimes it gives joy to my heart every time I see them in front of the camera.

I have many best friends. They are angel!

My dearest friends, sometimes it’s quite difficult for us to find out what is lacking and what others don’t like about us. We need other people to provide the mirror for us to figure out our flaws and defects.

All this while, many of you have provided me the mirror that I need to improve myself, so that I can be a great friend to have. At least some one that you can call friend. A friend that brings out the best in friendship. A friend that able to listen to you. A friend that provides you a different vision of what life has to offer. A version that improves and enriches ourselves.

A friend that makes life meaningful and wonderful. That brings wonders and glows to your heart. A friend that when you wake up one morning they are there for you. Something that you look forward to. Something that gets life going. Something that make us live and carry on. Some one that you can call friend. JJP

Friends Are Rare Jewels - Part I

There once was a little girl who had a bad temper. Her mother gave her a bag of nails and told her that every time she lost her temper, she must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the girl had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as she learned to control her anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. She discovered it was easier to hold her temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the girl didn't lose her temper at all. She told her mother about it and the mother suggested that the girl now pull out one nail for each day that she was able to hold her temper.

The days passed and the young girl was finally able to tell her mother that all the nails were gone. The mother took her daughter by the hand and led her to the fence. She said, "You have done well, my daughter, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. " You can put a knife in a person and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Long Time No See - I'm Back

1. I am back. With style! I know. It’s been a while. I have been busy with work and facebook. Sorii la bah! I’ve decided to blog most of the events in the last 5 months. In randomness. Kunun lagi bahh.

2. It gives tears to my heart every time I see my mom has to deal another terrible flood. This was the fourth time this year. Time like this one can see the deepest love, greatest might and patient a person will sacrifice for their loved ones. I took compassionate leave to help mom. To do the cleaning bah. Up to 5 am.

3. I was asked to choreograph the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Papar 2008. I was also the judge for the Gala Nite. The task was easy. Choose the winners for the Miss Topiodo and Miss Tosuou.

3a. I also choreographed the Gawai-Kaamatan Beauty Pageant Parade in Miri this year. This was my second time. I did the same last year where it was held at The Atlantis. Labuan will host next year. We brought the State Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Winner 2008 and the top 7 Penampang Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan. Velvet AF5 joined us too.

4. I was one of the judges for the Ratu Pesta Rumbia pageant in Kuala Penyu. I enjoyed it! A few of the contestants really walk very well. Well, I taught them before in modelling and how to strike a brilliant pose. They managed to get the Top 7 placings. Anak murid boh gia. Mr. Os was the MC. When I took my 'saguhati' from the organiser, he commented that I looked like a fashion designer and model, rather than a beauty pageant judge. Tau pun diaaa .... he he.

5. I can’t recall the last time I took a dip into a river. That’s ‘mandi sungai’. A group of friends decided to go to Tenom as part of the ‘cuti cuti Malaysia’ and ‘walking-walking find food’ activities over the weekend, and mandi sungai was one of the agenda. I had a great time!! And guess what? We were there again the weekend after that!

6. Felix came over to my workplace twice to deal with the artist permit, up front payment and other matters. He is one of the artistes performing in an event we organised this middle of August.

7. My congratulations to the organiser of the Sabah Bloggers Gathering (SBG). I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. And the performances too. Met a few bloggers! I didn’t mingle around from table to table though, malu bah siaaa! Kalu ada beer berani la kali kann.

8. I hate when over-friendly hantu (ghosts) followed me home. 3 times already ooh! And this time I can see them. Not just that feeling ooh!! *dakat pingsan bah sia!* It made me ‘pandang belakang’ all the time. I also have that eerie feeling of some one watching me all the time. Not to mention the goose bum!! Now kaaannnn, I switch on bah the light every time I sleep and my eyes wide open when I take my shower. Berdiri bah saja bulu bulu kuuu! Siiitttttt butul.

9. Yup! Another dipping in the river again!! This time we had a BBQ at Kibunut River. 12-15 km from Donggongon, Tambunan-Keningau Road. Siokkk bah!!

10. I met Stacy AF6 the other day she performed at Q Ball. My village mate. Same village bah we olz. She looked great and congratulations to her.

No Matter How Much You Love Him

This is a touching post I got from a friend’s blog. I’ve got to know someone who has been in this situation. Although how hard we have tried by giving advises and supports to help her deals with her domestic problems, but because of her great love to him, she still devoted to him for so long. In the end, thanks to the above, the bastard left her for good.

To all my ladies friend out there (and boyfriends too!) - No matter how much you love a man, no matter how much he may love you, but if ever he lifts a hand and hits you ... he's not worth it.

I do not think this is easy...but I guess it is true.....

I got flowers today,
It wasn't my birthday or any other special day. We had our first argument last night, and he said a lot of cruel things that really hurt me. I know he is sorry and didn't mean the things he said, because he sent me flowers today.

And it appeared that my name was the last one in his 'tagged friends' probably I am a type of friend 'kasi cukup korum'. A Life's Perspective - In The Eye Of A Boy

The Difference Between Rich/Poor People?

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the expresspurpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered:

" I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Dalam Lif

Ada 4 orang tengah tunggu Lif. Sorang tu Doktor, sorang lagi tu Engineer, yang ketiga tu Peguam dan yang last sekali Tok Imam. Tengah-tengah boring dok tunggu Lif tuh, datang le sorang awek cun yang teramat-amatlah seksi. Bila Lif sampai semua orang pun naik Le. Dalam masa lif tu nak naik ke atas, tiba-tiba elektrik terputus. Lif tu pun berhentilah dengan tiba-tiba dalam keadaan gelap gelita. Dalam black out tu, mulalah ada salah sorang dari melaun tu gatal pulak nak buat kurang ajar dengan pompuan seksi tu. Puas dia dok meraba pompuan tu dalam gelap!

Tiba-tiba, elektrik dah okay balik. Pompuan tu pun tengok kat si Engineer, lepas tu kat si Doktor, ketiga kat si Peguam. Last sekali kat Tok Imam. Indonesian Joke - Giliran Inem

Nyonya Besar curiga sama si Inem pembantunya ada main sama si Tuan Besar. Karena setiap kali Tuan Besar bilang mau pergi bisnis ke luar kota, malamnya si Nyonya merasa ada seseorang di kamar si Inem. Suatu hari pada saat Tuan Besar bilang mau keluar kota, malamnya si Nyonya ngomong ke si Inem,

"Nem, malam ini ibu mau tidur di kamar kamu, kamu boleh tidur di sofa.". Si Inem merajuk, "Wah, kenapa bu? Nggak mau ah!".

"Jangan banyak tanya, nanti tak pecat!".

Si Inem terpaksa menurut. Malamnya sewaktu si Nyonya sedang tidur di kamar pembantu yang gelap, pintu kamar tiba-tiba terbuka, seorang laki-laki masuk. Si Nyonya berpikir, "Rasain lu, suami mata keranjang, dia enggak tahu si Inem nggak tidur disini, gue mo tahu cara dia main gila ama Inem!!!".

Selanjutnya yang si Nyonya rasakan adalah kenikmatan yang luar biasa, sehingga saking nikmatnya si Nyonya enggak mau maklumatkan perang malam itu. Cuma si Nyonya merasa senang campur heran karena anunya si Tuan Besar malam itu serasa lebih kencang dan lebih besar dari biasanya.

Besok malamnya si Nyonya bilang sama si Inem dia mau tidur lagi di kamar pembantu, si Inem nggak bisa buat apa2. Malam itu si Nyonya merasakan lagi kenikmatan bak di surga dan dia merasa anunya suaminya kali ini tidak hanya lebih kencang dan besar tetapi juga panjang. Si Nyonya benar2 puas.

Besoknya begitu lagi, tetapi kali ini si Nyonya benar2 hampir kepayahanan karena anunya si Tuan Besar lebih perkasa dari 2 malam sebelumnya, benar2 kencang, panjang dan besar. Si Nyonya benar-benar puas habis2an. Besok malamnya si Nyonya bilang mau tidur lagi di kamar si Inem, tetapi kali ini si Inem benar2 ngebantah, dia bilang,

"Nyonya, maapin Inem, kali ini Inem benar-benar enggak terima!". Si Nyonya marah, katanya, "Enak aja, elu main sama laki gue, harusnya gue yang enggak terima!". Si Inem kaget, lalu ngejawab,

"Nyonya salah sangka, malam pertama waktu nyonya tidur di kamar Inem, yang masuk itu si Dedi, jongos Nyonya yang cakep itu, malam kedua itu giliran si Joko, tukang kebun Nyonya yang kekar dan kece itu, dan kemarin malem itu kan si Mustafa, supir tuan besar yang keturunan Arab yang keren dan macho itu. Nah malam ini Inem nggak mau digantiin lagi sama nyonya,lagian bisa gawat nyonya, Bahaya, bisa kualat!!!...".

Si Nyonya hampir pingsan bertanya, "Emang malam ini giliran siapaaaa?".

Love Is At Every Opportunity

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.

So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked Can I help you She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD. He picked one out and gave her money for it.

Would you like me to wrap it for you she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

!!!RRRRRING!!!

The mother picked up the phone and said, Hello

It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, You don't know He passed away yesterday...

The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother.

Later in the day. the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.

It said Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me Love, Jacelyn

The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me Love, Jacelyn

Love is... when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, I Love You.
