The Little Things
Do you ever came across there's a time in your life that things do not really go as we wish or want them to go. Late for class and suddenly your socks are out of sight, or you are so damn busy in the office one morning and suddenly there's a call from the Post Office which require you to collect a parcel from Poslaju urgently and you found out that it was another offer from a credit card company which you don't need at all and in fact you already possessed 3 credit cards from the same bank.
Are all these little things happening for a reason? Are all these little little things that cause a little havoc in our life are necessary? And why all these little things seem to happen at a wrong time and place when we don't really need them at that point of time? All these little things although seem rather annoying us and delaying our busy life and schedule are in fact could be a blessing in disguise whether one realising it or not. The following story tells it all. It touches me deeply. Happy Reading folks!
The Little Things
After Sept. 11th, one company invited the remaining members of other companies who had been decimated by the attack on the Twin Towers to share their available office space. At a morning meeting, the head of security told stories of why these people were alive...... and all the
stories were just: The 'L I T T L E' things .
1. As you might know, the head of the company got in late that day because his son started kindergarden.
2. Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.
3. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.
4. One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident.
5. One of them missed his bus.
6. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time change.
7. One's car wouldn't start.
8. One went back to answer the telephone.
9. One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have.
10. One couldn't get a taxi.
11. The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today.
Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone ... all the little things that annoy me. I think to myself, this is exactly where I'm supposed to be at this very moment.
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong, the children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, don't get mad or frustrated; someone is watching over you. May that someone continue to bless you with all those annoying little things and may you remember their possible purpose.
So, if you have a friend or anyone that seem to be in a hurry all the time, ask him -"Why the hurry ... late for your accident?" (I'm just joking!).

Sigh. I was thinking betul jugak what you're saying.
Sometimes we can never be grateful for these little things. :( So sad...
And I feel glad for those who still alive from the incident. May God bless the souls of those who were gone. Amen.
memang betul pun irzan ... most of the times we take things for granted. :)
