FIFA World Cup 2006 - The Fashionable Italians

Ohhh Yes, the italian team is in the final of the World Cup. Poor German losing it at home ground. However the game was excellent and what counts is that I am hoping the Portugese will march to the final too. It would be great to see both my favourite teams in action (apart from Brazil that was).

Now, back to the topic - what fascinated me about the Italianos is that there are so fashionable and trendy. They have taste and sense of style. Not just that, they are presentable - and- not just famous Italian celebrities, models and athletes, but also the Italian public in general. The ladies love make-ups and the men are just fashion-conscious.

Below, Dolce & Gabbana have wrangled five gorgeous Italian footballers to model their latest underwear in a new campaign for the Spring/Summer collection 2006: Manuele Blasi, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro. If their names alone aren't sexy enough, here they are in all their glory (well, most of it). Again, this entry is dedicated to my friends Ms. K and L for the only reason they love football.
