Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan 2006 - Backstage Pictures
This will be my final entry on the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan 2006 (other pictures will be uploaded later by clicking here). Here are the pictures taken backstage with some of the Unduk Ngadau. One of the best moments being incharged of backstage or choreographer for the Unduk Ngadau (apart from being surrounded with beautiful Unduk Ngadaus) is that you got to meet some of the guest artists performing during the Kaamatan functions. I also specifically requested if the artists performing during the Kaamatan Concert on the 30 May 2006 to meet the Unduk Ngadau during the rehearsal, and yes!, they did come and see us!
Three beautiful Unduk Ngadaus in their traditional costumes - the Kadazan Penampang, Rungus and Lotud Tuaran.
Unduk Ngadau Tawau, Diana Yaqub - she is one of the best model during the Gala Night. She inspires to be a stewardess or a runway model.
Sabah artist, Betcy michael winner of the RTM Star Search singing competition few years back. One of the local singers frequently featured at Radio Sabah.
Evaritus Gungkit, the singer who performed the Unduk Ngadau songs. He has been with us in every Kaamatan functions for many years now. One of my favourite local artists.
Boniface Monsios, a new local artist with an African touch combining tradisional music to his songs brings another genre to the local music industry.
With Azarina Azhar our guest artist during the Sodop Unduk Ngadau (Gala Night). She sang Let's Get Loud my favourite number from J Lo.
Andy of Flopoppy who came late for the session - the Musik.fm rep called me to introduce him to the Unduk Ngadaus.
With Deja Moss - since I was the MC introducing the artists to the Unduk Ngadau I was quite embarassed not knwing her name, luckily she informed me .. I am Deja Moss!.
